This is a continuation of what I wrote about last week. To view part 1 of this topic, click here.
Life is a series of problems. Every time you solve one, another is waiting to take place. Not all of them are big, but all are significant in God’s growth process for you. Problems force us to look to God and depend on Him instead of ourselves. There is this popular saying, You will never know God is all you need until God is all you’ve got. Regardless of the cause, none of your problems could happen without God’s permission.
The Bible says perilous times are coming, so we can’t run away from our problems, we need to face it head on. Let’s say I have a programming assignment that’s hard to tackle and I decide to go and sleep, the problem is still going to be there. So the best thing for me to do is to work on that assignment till I get it. There is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Success wasn’t built in a day. It takes a lot of hard work and perseverance but worry less and trust God to help you. The enemy knows you are close to your victory and will try to throw you off course, but God has given us his promises to hold. The answers may not come when we want it to come, but just speak into the situation and have faith. When we doubt, we are calling God a liar.
Life is supposed to have challenges; it is what enables us to grow. Remember, the earth is not heaven. Never forget that life is not about you! You exists for God’s purpose and not vice-versa. Why would God provide heaven on earth when he’s planned for that in eternity? God gives us our time on earth to build and strengthen our character for heaven.
Because God is sovereignty in control, accidents are just incidents in Gods plan for you. Every day was written in God’s calendar before you were born, everything that happens to you has a spiritual significance. Romans 8:28 says all things.…..not some but all things whether good or bad they will work together for good for them that love God (not for everyone). God knows everything. History is his story. God is pulling the strings. We make mistakes but God never does because He is God.
To bake a cake, you must use flour, salt, raw eggs, sugar and oil. Eating individually, each is pretty distasteful or even bitter. But bake them together and they become delicious. If you give God all your distasteful, unpleasant experiences, He will blend them together for good.. Most of what happens in our world is evil and bad, but God specializes in bringing good out of it.
If Jesus didn’t persevere, we wouldn’t have been here. It is because he didn’t give up despite the hostile ways he was treated that we are living.
When we believe, all things become possible. Our first step is to quit trying to figure everything out. There may be no way in the natural, but that’s okay. God can do what men cannot do. Remember how the Israelite escaped Egypt and Pharaoh chased after them. They came to a dead end at the red sea, and it looked like it was over. They couldn’t see a way out, but God did and parted the red sea. They went through on dry ground. Same with the three servants in Daniel 3; Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, God brought them through the fire without even having them smell of smoke, and left their enemies in shock!
Then the high officers, officials, governors, and advisers crowded around them and saw that the fire had not touched them. Not a hair on their heads was singed, and their clothing was not scorched. They didn’t even smell of smoke!
(Daniel 3:27)- NLT
I always remind myself that just because I can’t see a way out of something to be accomplished, doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have a way. He will always make a way when there seems to be no way, (Isaiah 43:19). Don’t give up!
